The SLiP Stream How-To Tutorial

Recently it has been brought to my attention that the majority of the users of slipstream do not know how to get the full potential that is hidden within it.

One of my favorite features on theslipstream.org, is the ability to make Live requests and dedications. Both the stream and website are synced to a common database that holds all the information to my tracks. To search a song in my library, click Requests then type in the name of the song and search. If you would like to search by date of show, type in by this format mm-dd-yyyy under the type of Album. If you forget the year just do as much as you know and it might show up. When ready to request click the link that looks like this Image

Another feature is the Information link that can be found anywhere in the now playing section or the requests section. The symbol Image will open a popup with specific information about the track. Although much of it is the same information, tracks that contain lyrics in them will have the lyrics to that track in this information window. If you happen to like that particular show, there is also a request link to select to have it play next on the queue.

Please respect other listeners and request one version of the same song per half hour. Also try not to abuse the requesting by doing hundreds of requests. Let other listeners have their chance as well.
