My Morning Jacket NYE show

Post: # 14211Post putty »

http://www.sendspace.com/file/x3fs2d

So, here's the broadcast from Sirius radio of the MMJ show on Sunday.

I can't wait to listen to it, but alas, i'm a computer idiot. I downloaded it (saved it to the desktop), but it saved it as the strange looking white icon that typically means it's an .exe file. When I click on it, it asks me what I should open it with. I was expecting it to be a zip file, since that is what i've always had with sendspace.

Did I download it wrong somehow? The file is 250 MB, so the information was downloaded to my computer. I just don't know how to get to it, so I can be even more jealous of the folks in the Fillmore than I am already.

It says it is a ZIP file on the sendspace page. Dunno.

Hey Putty - is this the file from the MMJ board? If so, the guy who uploaded says he recorded a better version during Sirius's re-broadcast, and is uploading it to archive.org currently....

Thanks for the linky :)

It is. I'll try to grab that one, and hope it works this time. I can't wait to hear this show. It'll be like one of my pictures, though, in that there's no way it'll capture the moment like it would've being there. Sounds like an unbelievable night. 2007 is going to be a huge year for MMJ. Maybe next NYE, they'll be playing in the new Yankee Stadium or something.
