software?
im looking for some good software for vocal composition. i hear finale is great. i tried a demo of mozart already and it worked for what i needed. i am in an large a cappella group at my high school. we have after school practice and performances at various places, mainly churches, because its Holyoke Catholic High School. but i digress... there is also and a cappella elective class for which you get credit that i am in with several others. for my midterm i chose to go away from the repitour and transcribed the vocals for 'the district sleeps alone tonight.' mozart worked okay but im lookin for better software for the future. i plan on arranging other songs in 4-part harmony... probbly a slip song (open to suggestions) and a vocal version of tortoise's 'ten-day interval'
