I can't think of any connection to Things Slipular, so my only excuse for putting this here is that I hope some Slip fans here will enjoy the music of Ken Vandermark's quintet that I recorded on two back-to-back nights last year. This is some monstrously heady and heavy stuff, out into the wonderful realm of avant-something music where composition and improvisation get their collective freak on. (It's worth a listen on headphones, too.)
