Re: Ticket Stub scans
Awww man those were the best times!!! Did we see any festival style shows of theirs together like SLAC Fest? Man I know, they really were. I did not make it to SLAC (nor Creekside or Bethel ), but just about all the other Northeast shows between '01-'04 (Berkfest, Pearl Street, Rhodes on the P...

Re: Poll: In what year did you first become a fan of The Sli
really hoping that "dog on bikes" act does another tribute to The Slip in the future. I'm so mad i missed it but the recording from Cleantone made it sound like it was awesome. Northampton is my old stomping ground. Ryan the guitarist is a close friend. I went to at least 50 Slip shows wi...

Re: Poll: In what year did you first become a fan of The Sli
I am not sure if anyone comes here anymore but I will add my .02 to this thread. My introduction to The Slip is fun. I had been friends with Cleantone for a few months in April 98. I had a pretty basic taping rig. I had a stereo Radio Shack deck that looked like a walkman it had 2 mic inputs. I had ...

Re:
Good poll! I was lucky enough to be gifted a tape of their high sierra 98 set from a friend I was trading phish tapes with in early 99. By the end of the year I had moved out to upstate New York for college (from San Diego) and caught my first show in at the Iron Horse. I have very distinct memorie...

I've seen the blue rags like 3-4 times and they rocked.. too bad they're not really performing anymore.. was anyone at the show where they did the famous blue rags/slip cross over? I am not sure if they gave us a ticket stub for ...

Re: ISO 11-24-00
Thanks SO MUCH!!! This recording is from my D6 master tape to a standalone TEAC CD burner I was patched out of Jim. The Solomon gets cut due to a tape flip. I was so out of my gourd at this sow it is a miracle I was able to do anything other than stare mouth agape at the stage. I made the CD's right...

I was at this show. Jim taped from the stage lip. We requested Jumby Brad was like "ohh good one who requested that?" we raised our hands and he was like oh you guys. I patched my D6 out of Jim at this show. My master tapes are long gone. RIP Jim.

Re: ISO 11-24-00
Ahhh this show is by far the best Slip show I ever witnessed. It is funny that the version with a cut off Weight Of Solomon circulates. That is from my D6 master tapes patched out of Jim's rig. I transferred my tapes via my D6>Standalone TEAC CD Burner. I made those CD's for my Slip friends circle a...

Re: ISO 4-19-2001 Pearl Street
I have the sign that the band put up around the venue for this show and the following Avalon Ballroom show because they were recording a live album. Rumors in the old Slip crew circulated that the sound on the recordings were bad. They were not letting any one in to Pearl St. with a taping rig. Jim ...
