Re: "With Love"

Anyone know anything about the last track, Abide With Me? That song....Brad does post rock better than post rockers. I figure he's just running his FZ-3 and it sounds like a delay w/ chorus, but man that sound is HUGE. Quoting myself here. I just googled the song name. I had no idea it was a church...

Re: ISO Barr Bros @ The Sinclair, Cambridge

I didn't catch if anyone was taping, otherwise. For whatever reason, I kind of thought the band wasn't really for taping at this point. I haven't seen a new BBros show pop up since like 2011. But I could be wrong.

11/22 The Sinclair, Cambridge, MA

Anyone going? I bought my ticket what feels like ages ago. Finally upon us this weekend, and if you haven't been to The Sinclair yet, it's a pretty great venue provided you don't get stuck underneath the balcony area.

How the Heroine Dies

Saw someone request this on reddit's /r/Tabs sub and someone responded with the intro, so I thought I'd pass it along. Intro e|-------------10----------11---------------------------------------------------------| B|-------------------10----------------11-----------8---------11----------10----------|...

Re: The Slip - Eisenhower (LIVE)

Ice Cream Truck is 8.7.04? I've got that show. I thought Harry might have hosted it in the torrent thread, too. How do I go about sharing that (provided you want it)?

Re: The Slip - Eisenhower (LIVE)

Oo. Some of my favorites: 1. Children of December - The Axis, 4.18.2004 2. Even Rats - The Pearl St. Ball Room, 10.28.2004 3. If One of Us Should Fall - If it's not cheating....the one form Alivelectric. Other than that, I think it was The Paradise, 12.28.2008. While they were waiting I think Marc a...

Re: listen to sleeping operator

Wonder if they will make some cross over with some of the songs they did with the Slip and use it for Barr Brothers like a Dear Melina or something... or if they just want to keep the groups totally seperate I'd love to hear some of the unrecorded Slip stuff make it....somewhere. Predicting the Rai...

Re: listen to sleeping operator

What happened to Kisses from Chelsea? I know it doesn't really fit the album but... free shrugs dot com. But they did say in interviews they had about 40 songs "in the can" by the time they were done the recording phase. I'm sure it's out there. The Tune in 9 was a favorite of mine, as wa...

Re: listen to sleeping operator

They really put a great effort into this record. This is as strong of a sophomore effort you could ask for. Really psyched to pick up the album and see everyone in the band.

Re: The big ol' Sliplive thread for VIDEO links

Probably. Sounded like an Orange to me...stiff breakup at that level. Probably a pain to lug around the old Tweed and Twin Reverb.
