Oh I guess that explains the mike i saw then. oh well, good to know there's a recordist up here, maybe now the good shows will get recorded and not just, like, Disco Biscuits. pass along my thanks.

i do get the feeling, based on all the new songs being debuted and the fact that Nathan and Marc just spent 10 days in Montreal with the other guys, that some Mr. Davis recording is in the works, if not already begun. i'm all for it. i remember hearing that the Only in Montreal EP was only a teaser ...

Re: SMMD - 4/20 Sullivan Hall, New York, NY

Nathan said they were going to take a break to "celebrate 4/20" I suppose subtlety is not one of Nathan's strong points. hah. awesome setlist. would've loved to hear The Real World and Poor Boy at the show I saw. why two sets? did The Low Anthem not open this show or was the band just fee...

oh. maybe it was. I don't really have any idea what I'm talking about. I just seem to remember seeing a funny German name on the headstock and thinking, hmm that's new. maybe it was a different guitar or maybe i invented a memory.

oh and how about those openers? Glad to have seen Cannon Fodder after all the good words I've read about them in Seven Days, and they were good. even better they're playing here at St. Mike's on Sunday afternoon so I can see them again. and The Low Anthem! damn. they were great. got their CD, not qu...

ho-lee shit that was epic. one of the tightest shows i can ever remember seeing. it was awesome to see everyone in the band looking like they were having so much fun just being there. great experience. highlight for me though was Brad's singing. I know there was that topic a few days ago about Brad'...
