Yeah it was the same, since it's just Ticketmaster giving w.a.s.t.e. a block of tickets. there's no getting around those fuckers.

I'm kind of surprised that you even got tickets through Ticketmaster. I chose to deal with the w.a.s.t.e. presale on Wednesday. the servers went down instantly and chaos broke out. never ending streams of refreshes, time-outs, and blank pages. it was driving me crazy. HOWEVER, 350 dollars and 99 min...

anyone got a setlist for the Radio Bean show? that was the only one I went to, and even that one I arrived a few minutes late. but it was fun! I just don't know much of Nathan's catalogue outside of Surprise Me. I remember Unprotected Sex Song, a re-arranged Before You Were Born, an Ambrosia Drunk t...

you're a legend, thanks!

regarding the actual topic, i'm in agreement that it's based on how much voice fatigue he's got from tour.

maybe to alleviate this they should have Marc sing lead for a show sometime.

off topic but is there anyway someone could Sendspace me that Super Little show or any other one in mp3 form? Torrents pretty much just don't work at all on my school's network.

Cannon Fodder is (I think) the band of local folk singer (and Monkey House booking guy) Paddy Reagan.

couldn't tell you for sure though because i got bogged down in work last night. but i WILL be at radio bean tonight.

When you say more electronica, would you say they're going more towards Duo or more towads, say, The New Deal?

cool idea, I'd add the Tomorrow Never Knows (Beatles) from 12/06/06, Everybody Wants to Rule the World (Tears for Fears) from 09/09/06, and Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell (Flaming Lips) from 09/15/04. I can upload any of these if anyone needs it.

Awesome! would've liked to get down to this, but I was helping to run a battle of the bands at St. Mike's and Parima is usually 21+ anyway (i'm off by just a year damn). Good signs for the next couple nights though.

I was up in the Burlington area and noticed that Kaki was playing and I was free that night so I decided to check it out. I was actually very disappointed. I didn't particularly like her band. The few of her older tunes were the sole highlights, if you ask me (i.e. Doing the Wrong Thing). Even then...

Kaki King 4/5

saw Kaki King last night at Higher Ground. damn she's really gotten good, hasn't she. her instrumentals with a full band sound like some sort of virtuosic take on Tortoise, and she's also become quite a talented singer-songwriter as well. she played a little of her older solo acoustic stuff that sta...
