I know how you feel. I said goodbye to my bumper sticker-covered 91' Chevy Corsica yesterday. My first car, which made it through many long roadtrips to shows and festivals, survived a few more VT winters than expected, and even recovered from an incident with a gaurd rail on Storrow Drive when we s...

I've seen them a couple times. Their style is kind of jamband-y, and yeah, they get a lot of Phish comparisons... but they're good at what they do. Last time I saw them (at the Higher Ground re-openening) I was actually pretty impressed, and had a lot of fun despite being a little skeptical before-h...

So Phrazz, I see you're looking to stir up some interesting conversation... sorry for not contributing to the baseball discussion (I'm honestly not affected by baseball fans enough for me to form an opinion on that), but this is one area I spent semesters studying in college. It's almost funny to se...

Here's one that I've only ever heard The Slip play instrumental: 'I've heard there was a secret chord That David played, and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do ya? Well it goes like this, the fourth, the fifth The minor fall, the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelu...

Yeah there's a great demographic for them... I can just imagine a room full of people zoning out in a trance to the instrumental music. I have trouble keeping track of their all their upcoming dates untill the week or two before... I know they're working on putting together something in Bo...

Japhy Ryder 04/20 in NYC

Had to share cause I find this kind of funny... My friends in Japhy Ryder got offerred a gig back in February at the Lion's Den in NYC on April 20th. At the time we all went 4/20 in the city?! That could be fun.. *wink, wink.. tee hee* Turns out... it was no coincidence. The event is being sponsored...

Hey, Nice work! The side angle shot of marc at the keys is such a perfect moment. Plus you gotta love the combination of suits and sunglasses. 8) It's interesting to me too cause I shot mostly at the same angle but on the opposite side of stage, at the Higher Ground show (cause the front was pretty ...

Made the other one sticky since there's more replies there. I know you can split threads, but I wonder if there's a way to merge 2 of them? Oh well... Treefrog, you can just re-post to the other thread if you want.

Being able to turn off avatars and images is probably something that could be looked into as a personal viewing option. I don't usually find any of them distracting myself, but I know whenever I go to visit my parents and try and check websites on their slow dial-up conncection it can get frustratin...

Jeez... I go away for 6 days and miss what all the commotion is about. Phrazz, I did get your e-mail asking for my 2 cents... so here's a brief response to everyone. I didn't see the avatar that started this thread, but I was slightly bothered by the Selma one that was put up a while ago, and let th...

I'm know I still have this on my computer at home, however I'm firewalled and don't have access to open the ports... so I don't know if you'd be able to connect to me. PM me if you can't get it from anyone else today, maybe I can send it to you over an Instant Messenger or something (or get Pat to s...

ScS- Thanks for posting those!

I'd be interested to hear what you and anyone thinks of these shows too. I know some people have heard some of their stuff through me in the past, but they've definately evolved quite a bit over the last year or so.

New Japhy Ryder on archive.org

OK, time for my turn at shameless self-promotion. Well, no not really... it's not my band. But I live with at least half of this band at any given time, and devote a bit of time and energy to helping them be heard... So yeah, if you're ever wondering what I end up listening to even more than The Sli...
