Yeah, I read that SOM article on Brad. It was rather depressing to learn that the band went into the recording for "Eisenhower" considering it to be thier potential swan song.....

I miss the Slip. :(

Dave Fiuczynski's KIF - Langdon Street Cafe, Burlington, VT, October: two sets of music from one of the most innovative guitarists out there. 2. Club Delf - Lizard Lounge, Cambridge,...

So I can't help but wonder what the boys will be up to this year....will SMMD be the focus? A few more Slip shows (please God)? Touring in support of other musicians? Hmmm.............

Soooooooooooooo glad to see the end of the lying-torturing Bush administration. It will take a lot of hard work to restore our nation's credibility, but we've elected the best man for the job. But you know the right-wing Republicans will dog Obama just like they did Clinton, with fake scandals about...

June of 1998 at the Middle East when they opened for John Scofield. I'll admit that I didn't quite "get" what they were about then. But then I saw them in May 2000 when they did this Cinco De Marley show at the Sommerville Theater and they just blew my mind. Been on board ever since....

Finally got a chance to listen to the Fall Apartment and I just love it. Someone on the board here said it was a great Sunday morning CD and that was accurate. Listening to it on Sunday morning while drinking coffee, slightly hung over, crisp fall air, beautiful acoustic music. Yeah, that's good stu...

Wow...it sounds and looks like it was one great festy....wish I went. The only festy I hit this year was totally lame (Mad River in VT). I got there late because bridges were closed at two points of entry. By the time I got there, the band I came to see had already played. Small crowd, little...
