So nobody has the setlist for the smokin' hot show they did in Alston? That was a great night of music. They played for two and a half hours straight. There were about four ocassions where the jams verged into old school Slip teritory....just a blast and you could tell the boys were having fun too

Great Scotts is a college bar in Alston. Small bar, small stage. Not much to write home about. I'm actually surprised they would play this room, but hey, at least they'll be in town!

Mr. Davis will be playing Great Scotts in Alston on THursday August 7th. Kind of a strange choice of venue, but there you go.

A closer reading of the blurb indicates that the Slip will be the backing band for Sonya Kitchell. No offense to Ms. Kitchell, but I'm jonesing for a real live Slip show. The world needs them now more than ever..... c'mon fellas! We need you!

The IHEG website is posting a Slip show for September 30th at the Iron Horse. I can now exhale......

This seems like a good news/bad news kind of thing. While it's great to see SMMD added, the Slip remain conspicuously absent....

With seven months without a show and no word from the band, would I be right in assuming the Slip have broken up or is it just a hiatus? Can't help but wonder......

Tonight I'm going to walk down to Main Street and see the Pat Metheny Trio at Mechanics Hall in beautiful downtown Woostah MA.

Oh most definately. I bought my ticket early, so I should be up on one of the pimp seats. Should I be on the lookout for a guy setting up some mics? I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Tone yet.
