I was at Club Helsinki the previous Friday for Club D'Elf and it was packed to the gills, so I was surprised it wasn't the same way for the Slip show - but the weather probably knocked back attendance a bit. This was a beautiful intimate Slip show - more like a relaxing hot bath and good massage tha...

Yeah, the Ice Cream Truck was the show of the summer that year. Last summer's version was really good too....until the cops came and shut it down right in the middle of the Duo's set! I talked with one of the organizers in the spring and he said that they all had various personal committments this s...

Tammany is teenie-tiny. It's essentially two rooms split by a brick divider. One side has pool tables and NO view of the stage, while the other side has a bar and a small area in front of the stage. Nice, laidback, friendly place though, with a great beer selection. Music usually starts around 10-ish.

Yeah, the "tweaked" guy was obnoxious as hell, but I wasn't about to let him ruin a perfectly good Slip show for me - I had travelled too far for that. And yeah, the Webster was a pit and I doubt I'll go there again. Designated drinking pens, expensive beer, security everywhere (why?), lou...

I can't believe some of the responses here. Cleantone is probably responsible for 9 out of the 10 Slip shows in all of your collections and this is how you support a brother? "after all, he did break the law..." C'mon, we're talking about a couple of brownies here. I say it's time to rally...
