Negativity goes nowhere
Don't fret...frets are for guitars. This board is Moderated and that person has been dealt with. There's no reason to slam any band here. It's ok to be critical, but posts that are patently offensive will be deleted. Repeat offenders will be blocked.

lineup lamer
Yeah, no Slip, Duo or Soulive. I'm mostly going on account of the photo gig, but if they have a similar lineup next year I'm going to pass on it. DSO is cool and all but for another weekend night I'd rather see another headliner.

anon and anon
Well, there's really no point in shutting down anon posts if folks don't cause trouble. As I've shown before, "anon" to the Board is not "anon" to the Site Admin, so I don't anticipate any trouble here. Allowing only registered posters to Shows and Reviews seems to be a suitable ...

When you register, you have the confidence knowing you're part of the community. You also get to upload cool Avatars and allow others to get in touch with you. Emails are spam-proof so don't worry about that. -Phrazz P.S.: How's the weather there? I used to work in town, including a stint on the rol...

jumby has a copy
You can buy a bootleg copy from:
Jumby.
I am not sure if this is the same one, but there are some interesting parallels, I just haven't quite figured it out yet.
Wasn't that on maxxhaze? I bet he has a copy.

Groovy
Hey Rebecca, Thanks for the feedback--this means a lot to me. I try to steer the middle ground between people, but this sometimes leads to adversity. I'm sort of on the fence myself about these things, being impossible to offend myself (except when my honor or ethics are questioned). As for nudity a...

Voting authentication
Tim, the simple answer is that the webserver access logs register the IP of the incoming connection: whether that's from a router, a firewall, a proxy or other intermediary host is left as an "exercise for the reader" and it is not trivial to tell the difference. Since this is the only sim...

Hey Dan...thanks for understanding. It's always a good policy to check first, not after. This can save you also from a great deal of hassle. Marybeth is a bit trigger-happy, but that's her job. She's really nice if you meet her in person. She's just looking out for everyone...and cooks a great apple...

In Netscape (best browser), right click -> View Image.
Then, take this URL and copy/paste.
Highlight that and Click on Img Button, you'll see the tags
surroung the URL and then the image will "load" (even though it is
still on the remote site, not on this one just yet....).

New site styles
I just installed subBlack, which is a light-on-dark style deal. Change style in your profile. Each user has their own. I'll look into putting together other basic styles...these can be changed on the fly as they don't affect the actual content, just the presentation. Funky..... OK...just found a bun...
