Hey all - thanks for the cool comments... I took those shots. So bouche... how many shots do you think you would have taken? I got just under 400 myself. My server is only so big though, so I've gotta conserve space for more shows! I hate having to narrow it down to just a few though - 400 thumbnai...

I am sooooo glad it was recorded. I'll be checking etree like crazy now.

Next time you have this kind of info....EMAIL ME ;)

I would have probably gone. I'm only 3.5 hours from b-town...and I would have taken even more photos than that pro whom I'm incredibly jealous about ;)

those are definately top notch.

I was sooooo close to taking a camera with me and a day off of work for that, but I was also just coming off of a bad lung cold and my fiancee was home with the same sick, but 2 days behind my healing.

Now I am so goddamn jealous of those that made it there!

Those are some very nice shots man! That shot you have behind Brad is a perspective that I love. I also found that it was very similar to one that I couldn't help but capture in Montreal....so I wonder if it is a special angle. http://static.flickr.com/42/107482087_4b2bcee576.jpg http://theslip.com/...

i feel a little terrible when I look through my photos and realize that a very high percentage is focused on Brad. He seems to get all the attention ;)

The Slip - 03-02-2006 Main Hall, Montreal

I've added some more photos to my Flickr gallery. Also, if anyone here has a Flickr account, I've created a photo pool for The Slip. I'd be good to get a few more Slip phan photographers contributing to it so we can build the greatest archive of Slip photos on the internet ;) This is what it must fe...

nice. i've been a big fan of the Duo since seeing them at the Adirondack Mountain Music Fest in 2003. I just wish they came closer to me a little more often.

i would love to hear this show. SAM COHEN is pretty fantastic at the pedal steel power and I really dug watching him switch between that and guitar in Montreal. So adding that layer to the Slip's tunes would have been killer. I am so very saddened that the audio of this show is now lost in the cosmos.

nice read. I wish I could have left my life for a few days to catch all of the shows after Montreal. The Slip are completely on their game and I'm not sure how long it'll take for the rest of the world to catch on.

Pete is always there with the unmistakably super fun girl Tasha. She's always sporting great glasses and likely a spongebob accessory. Pete also manages to capture shows the way they are meant to be. It's nice to read about Pete here because he certainly went a long way to be in Montreal and B-town.

I certainly used Photoshop to modify the image properties, and I thought that the EXIF info was always saved with the image. How do I do that then? I have a 1.4 50mm lens that I bought while in Burlington for SMMD last April, and it usually pulls off some very nice results with the lighting at most ...

The Slip - 03-02-2006 Main Hall

I've finally had some time to rock the fu@k out to the recording from thursday's Slipevent. The Slip really put on their magic boots after getting warmed up via super rockstars Apollo Sunshine. Check out the download... http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=23249 oh and photos: <a href="http://www...
