We've been hearing that The Slip's performance in Ottawa at Barrymore's will be recording in HD and 5.1 audio by the CBC for an as-of-yet unknown broadcast.

What a way to preserve the evening. I hope this goes through.

This is from that show last June in Montreal at the Fringe Festival. A bunch of us showed up for this and there were a total of 20 people there. It was a really good show.

ewww! They do that at a venue here in Ottawa (Zaphod Beeblebrox) as well. usually they get 2 bands and cram them in from 9-11 and at 11pm sharp go straight to DJ'd music. I hate that kind of management.
