This Storm

The new Sonya Kitchell album is absolutely fantastic. I've been listening to it nonstop for a couple of weeks now and I just keep thinking over and over "holy crap - that came out of Brad's brain!" Its in record stores today, so if you haven't heard it, get it. If nothing else, buy Here To...

I just downloaded the new album's single Here to There from iTunes. (My first and last iTunes purchase - it's back to Amazon for me). It's pretty damn good. Brad is listed as co-composer.

They may have won the first wikipedia battle, but the war ended in a draw. Now The Slip takes you to a disambiguation page, which links to The Slip (album) and The Slip (band).

Huh. I was not aware of Brad and Andrew collaborating on her new album. I've only caught a taste so far on her Myspace page, but I'm definitely going to have to get my hands on it when it comes out.

Wow. I'm all atwitter (of course, I might just be a twit). So what's the deal with Kitchell? I remember Brad doing something with her a year or so ago, but I'm rather surprised that they're backing her. Is this a completely new setup, or have they backed her before? If they have, I'd sure like to he...

And speaking of PGH, how about Rex 2007-03-18? Did I already mention that? Rex 2007-03-18 does kick some serious monkey-butt. It didn't hurt that there were about fifteen people in the audience. Of course, it also probably means that it will be a couple of years before the boys set foot in western ...

A couple of my favorites: 2004-04-02 - Especially Aptos and Sorry -> With or Without You 2007-03-15 - Gotta love the stripped-down feel of this short show, especially on Suffocation Keep. The rest at http://theslip.rockfallspark.com/mp3/index.htm are not necessarily top 5, but they're worth a listen.

Thanks! [edit] I cropped one of your photos, edited out a window, and then uploaded it to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Nathan_Moore_dsc_1277_Crop_Window_Removed.jpg . Request: A Nathan Moore pic for Wikipedia

I'm looking for a picture of Nathan Moore released under a free license GNU Free Documentation License or the Creative Commons Attribution License), preferrably without a watermark. Does anyone know of one, or have a pic that they'd be willing to release? The Wikipedia article on Nathan Moore could ...
