BJM is the best rock and roll band to never live. At least that is how a friend and I used to describe them. we used to live in coventry village in cleveland (1997-99) and they frequented the old Grog Shop quite a bit. Simply put…they used to rock the f’n shit outta that place. I think Anton had a d...

Mason Jennings?

I just recently got turned onto Mason's music and was wondering what every/anyone else thought. I'm pretty impressed and hoping he heads to the NE soon.

Off to get my slur on. Happy Friday Sliplive.

Not really too much to add. The sound itself was definitely off (Brad's vocals were really jacked up) but the guys sounded great. Congratulations on the job. I'll be traveling to shitsburgh for the browns-steelers game this year. We'll have to meet up for some Pamani Brothers meal before watching Trent Dilfer (?) and Weed Head Willie Green light up the Steelers. Good luck.

The Black Crowes at Hampton Beach, NH

Went to see the Black Crowes this past Saturday. It was great. Two hours of straight up rock n roll. I am not sure how that show stacks up against others, but I was really impressed. Chris was wearing a shirt that said "Don't Buy Your Weed From Speed Dealers". Encored with Torn & Fraye...

So today...

I pulled my Slip logo sticker off the back of my 87 VW Vanagon Syncro (named "Blue Steel") in anticipation of it being put up for sale. The greatest 2nd vehicle ever invented. The places that van has been and the things it has seen go down with the curtains closed..yikes. The looming end o...

new album recording studio?

Does anyone have any idea where the new album is being recorded? slip.com says there are in studio now, but not sure if they have booked space and are actually laying tracks or still getting things together at home.
