there's a part of Paper Birds around the 10 minute mark where it sounds kinda like Anthem For A Seventeen Year Old Girl by Broken Social Scene. but now that i think if it, i'm pretty sure i've read on the graffiti board that there was a similarity to a BSS scene song somewhere. this is the first time i've really noticed it. anyway, yeah this version is awesome.

of all the newer songs, though, Airplane/Primitive is my favorite. love that song.

glad you folks are enjoying. definately a high-energy performance from the band even though it was not super packed. It also helps to have high-quality recording of the more recent shows to listen to. I always found that their audience tapes made it more difficult to enjoy some of the vocals and instrumentation.
