thanks for the info and link pat. i was really worried who the taper was... little story: so the three amigos roll up from bmore/dc travelling anywhere between 60-90 mph, like a jet ski cutting through the ocean that was I-95. after we get lost and seem to go around the same loop over and over we stumble apon our hotel. toss our bags into our kick ass suite (thanks phrazz), slam beers, and hop into a cab.
roll into the north star with its usual strange mix of a crowd, college kids, indie/tatoo fetish people, old heads, lushes.. just in time to see the duo setting up. yes! to the bar! more beers, and a nice chat with our best friend fun guy. the show begins.. i struggle up to a good spot near the stage. let the groovin begin. i look around to see who my neighbors are, well heres the dude to my right:

this dude, if you notice, has mics on his hat, was completely trashed/tripin. while wearing his sunglasses the entire show, would randomly hand me his beer and start streching out arms and back, bumping and poking people. hillarious. during his yoga, the dude would drop his mics! this happend easily 4 times in the first set. well i didnt see him anymore after the first set, b/c during the break, i had to get refreshed and decided for the second set that the balcony was the best place to rock out. afterall, you can stand still while led zep is screaming through your skull.
