Pat and I taped 04/04/03. Impromptu recording on minidisc, brought for recording the college radio interview and realized there was no one else taping. I'll see if Pat can track down the SHNs, or the minidiscs, but we've moved a few times since then... but I'll keep an eye out for them.

Pat, I found my copy of 04/04 too. Turns out something was right where it should've been (for once).

I think I have 8/17 too. It just wasn't on my list. This is the upper lodge set that was a D'Adarrio workshop right? Unannounced and happening during the JFJO hillside set right? I have that somewhere I think.

Does anyone have 3/21/03 that is NOT riddeled with static? I got two copies that are both destroyed by pops and crackles. Sounds like popcorn being almost done. To check you copy use the final track of disk two which seems to be the worst and most evident. WOW!

the slip covered what is and what should never be? would really like to hear that.

Yep I hear them...Isn't there software, like cool edit or something better, that can filter them out?

i think clintons got software up the wazooo

adobe audition ( formerly cool edit) can do that. I put alot of my parents old records on a dvd audio disk for them. I got rid of the crackles but the volume can fluxuate at that point, as it just takes out that frequency but pops are mostly just a gap in the real readording.

So even cutting the pops out, you cut out the audio that was behind it, or there was no audio that got picked up underneath it so it just sounds better, but still not good.
