Slip on archive
I wonder what the deal is. Slip is on various online sources already, so what's worse about one that's online all the time?

if they dont like the recording, then they can control what is put up there. they can totally do quality control. it'd be work but at least the shows they approve would be out there for popular consumption.

wrong shows? what does that mean? if the slip retain complete control over what is uploaded, they are the only ones who can upload a show or they can designate a specific user to be the sole uploader.Dan wrote:i think the fact is, they have a new motive on who they want to appeal to and archive.org is a place were peopel would put the wrong shows up, dispite how good it is....

That would probably take up much more time than they have to devote to something like that. They would have to sit and listen to entire shows of thier own band. That is a big task.if the slip retain complete control over what is uploaded, they are the only ones who can upload a show or they can designate a specific user to be the sole uploader.
Over the years I have mentioned it to them a bunch of times. I don't think it will happen. Archive has been all screwed up too lately.
