Well, I tried to jump on and was cruelly rejected.
:(

It was like high school all over again.

I was told I had to log in and when I tried to create a new account (having never been there before) I was told that they already had their maximum number of people.

Guess I'll once again be sitting home alone on prom night.

This tracker has some of the best seeds I have ever seen on any BT tracker. Thye boot people daily and keep membership to 100,000. After midnight or in the morning you should be able to create an account. It is well worth it. Some bad ass music on this tracker. Plus it is ratio enforced so people actually upload after they download.

I almost posted the NYE show on there to give them some 'exposure'.

If anyone wants this who doesn't have a dime account email me and I will put it up on my FTP.

i could up it on etree... but haven't done this before and am stumped by the process...
apparently you have to add the source to db.etree.org first then wait for confirmation or something, and get a db.etree.org Source ID and Show ID, before it'll let you up the torrent?

I don't think you have to but they like it when you do. The database they have is not the best organized or accurate anyway. I have never added anything to the database before seeding. I know they make you add the flac fingerprint to the text file. That would have to be done.

i've tried to up the torrent without those mysterious bits of info i mentioned, but i keep getting an error...

http://bt.etree.org/upload.php

You did what was spelled out here ^^

Did you create and upload a new .torrent file?
The tracker's announce url is http://tracker.etree.org:6969/announce
You have to use "http://tracker.etree.org:6969/announce" in your bit torrent client when creating the .torrent file. You have to upload that .torrent file created from the "slip2007-02-25" folder. Then erase the one on your harddrive and download the one you just uploaded. Start the torrent up and soon you should be shown as a seeder on the bt.etree.org page. If your firewalled you probably cannot seed it. You need your ports to be forwarded.

that's a new one on me too... I'll have to think about that....

I googled your error message (always a good thing to try). Are you using bit comet for a client? Either way you might want to try another bit torrent client first. that might help.
