There is wind noise here and there. It was tamed so it won't blow your woofers but it is still audible.

notes from Ned:

So this was a free performance in Berkeley on a quiet street in front of the record store. About 20-30 of us there and many families walking about.

The levels are very low and panned to the left because I fried my V2 the weekend before at High Sierra and the AD 1000 had its gain disengaged internally. Not sure why as it was a borrowed piece of gear. Regardless it was a very cool "special" gig, one that I will remember for a lifetime. As my wife says "It was totaly Berkeley". No other tapers, never traded.[/url]

Sweet! It was my birthday, not sure why I wasn't there... I was at the Sweetwater on the 10th, that was a great show, would love to hear tapes of that one.

This is a great recording, btw. I was a little put off by the description of wind noise, panning and low levels but I am listening to it as I type on the Klipsches and it sounds GREAT!

Nice show. I love the way it's bookended by Driving Backwards and Before You Were Born (and Islands In The Stream) teases. And Brad's tax advice. And hearing Sam's voice. and cetera. and cetera.
