The Slip
7/4/03
Big Meadow Stage, High Sierra Music Festival, Quincy CA
Source:
FM > D8 > DAT Master > DAP-1 > Power Mac G5 (optical) > Peak 5.2.1 (normalized, gain of channels matched) >
AIFF > xACT 1.5.8 > FLAC (SBE Fixed)
Taped by Scott Samuelson
Transfer, Mastering & Tracking by Harry McQuillen
1. unknown instrumental >
2. The Soft Machine
3. Wolof
4. Back in 15 Minutes
5. Mudslide
6. Children of December
7. Sweet Thing
8. The Witch in the Kitchen
Notes:
Taped off Grizzly Radio. You can hear a separate audio source appear in the mix (a band other than The Slip) during the middle of Wolof. It is quite loud between Wolof and Back in 15 Minutes but gets turned down just as the song starts though it can still be heard much more faintly throughout the end of the show. It sounds like someone at Grizzly Radio turned a fader up by mistake and then turned it down but not quite enough. Maybe not the best show for headphones but it is quite listenable though and otherwise is an excellent recording.
