I am new to this forum...I used to go see the Slip in RI mainly from 96-98 before I left for college. After that I only got to see them sporadically. I had a lot of great tapes from those shows at the Living Room and Lupos and the Halloween show at the roller rink, but they have since been lost to the depths of my parents' basement, i.e. been thrown out without consultation. I'm trying to track down anything I can find from that period. Can anyone help me? I can send a flash drive or dropbox stuff or whatever means works for you...I'm really bummed about not being able to listen to some of those shows.

Hey Carl...that's a total bummer you lost all those vintage shows, but I definitely can help out. A flash drive would save a lot of time. I have a few vintage shows from Oz...drop me an email so we can share addresses. [I'm covering Catskill Chill this weekend, so later next week would work best.]

I uploaded MP3s of 4/20 Providence from 1997 and will email you the link (it's a bit chatty, but an awesome vintage show from Brown U). The Zion, Crosstown Traffic and drum circle encore are epic!! I'm looking for 1996...I think the earliest in my disk collection is 1997. I'll check old CDs to see what's my earliest show.

Brad said at the end of 4/20/97: "...we've got to stop because we're way too loud, but you can keep going...thanks a lot everybody!" ... then the drum circle kicks in. Classic!!!

can you upload one of the earlier shows that has decent quality. I have one from i think 98' but you cant hear the vocals at all.
