Don't Foil the Mohel

Post: # 24569Post Big Bob »

Does anyone have a particularly good recording/performance of Don't Foil the Mohel? I'm downloading some shows on etree right now but can't seem to find a show with Don't Foil the Mohel.

I recently got a new computer and my old one is tucked away in a friend's basement and I am craving some SLiP. I gotta get my old computer and transfer my slip collection at some point. or at least rebuild some semblance of a slip collection.

I have a bunch of them. Are you looking for those entire shows or just that song?

well i would like to get entire shows, but totally willing to settle for just one song if the file transfer is easier. if you started a torrent i would be happy to jump on and seed for a while.

I've only got them in mp3 if that makes a difference (FLAC just takes up too much hard drive space, and I'm pretty sure my ipod won't play that format, either).

But here's what I got:
Halloween '03
3/24/2000 at the Khyber, Philly
9/3/2000 at Snow Ridge Ski Area, Turin, NY
9/8/2000 at Nietzche's, Buffalo, NY
7/25/2003 at Lupo's
3/25/2004 at The Green Room, Iowa City, IA
7/8/2004 at the Fillmore, San Francisco, CA

john - i sent you a message but I'm not sure if my PMs are working (forever stuck in outbox?)

booher - i would happily take an mp3 of decent quality. which one(s) is/are the best in your opinion?

thanks!

Actually, I don't know that song very well. I can just put them all in a zip file and send them your way, though, and you can let your ears do the deciding.

There are a couple in the 2004 roundup page, 3/25 and 7/8.

I keep meaning to do this for other years but life has been keepin' me busy...

Isn't there a "Mohel" from the Scullers 98 show? Amazing quality and a sick as funk. Get it!

Sorry I was thinking of "Ernie Mickey (Volunteer of the week)" from Scullers 98. That is such a great tune, and an amazing version!
