Anyone have this as a file set, on CD or DAT? Would love to get a copy, I think it's the only slip/davis NYE I don't have.

Also could use 12/9 and 12/28/01, my file sets for those are missing tracks, but 12/31 is the big one...

Hey harrymcq I have this NYE on CD-R. Have had it since maybe a week or two after the show. Would love to get it to you but not sure how. What if I were to .zip it and post the link here...? Just let me know. Cheers.

You bet! Was an awesome show. Mac OS X 10.5.8. Will need to rip to my comp first. Once I do that I think I can convert them to FLAC in TwistedFLAC, unless you recommend something else. After that, what's the next move?

I'd recommend XLD, I can help you with the exact settings but it's my favorite for doing this on the Mac. Shoot me a PM or email harry AT spunturtle.net. Don't forget to clean the discs with a nice camera cloth or something very smooth first... Psyched for this!!! Big hole in my Slip NYE collection will be filled.

The Slip did not allow soundboard patches at this show. Jim Crichton ran
his Schoeps against the grill of each stack (left/right stereo) in order
to pick up *only* what came out of the stack itself, and therefore what
came out of the soundboard. This Schoeps tape was the closest to SBD quality that would be taped that night. Clinton's Earthworks were run dead center at the stage lip.
