Thanks so much for the slip server! It's awsome! I wanted to mention that the internet browser Firefox has a wonderful FTP extension that someone made, called fireFTP. It is a great little download/upload tool that is totally free- works like a champ too. I like it better than Fetch or any of the other little stand alone programs.
So, just sharing this little tidbit... Check it out!
Peace,
Lisa

Anyone that has been using this have any feedback?
I know it's slow (about 40K shared is max) but I was wondering what speeds people were seeing and if they were having a lot of disconnects???
Just curious, after I moved the service seemed slow at times and it is now sits behind a router which it didn't before...

Its slow, but better than nothing.
I download from the server while at work every once in a while (take that IT!), and seem to get connected at about 25-35K per second with no interruptions.
I pulled the Sirius sessions in one afternoon a couple of weeks ago.
Thanks for the space and the hard work, Slipsters everywhere appreciate it!

What happened to SlipServer?

Is slipserver dead? It seems nothing has happened there since last winter and things are offline. I would LOVE to get some of the recordings on there and could host some on my private FTP server if that helps...

I guess it is dead

From the complete lack of response, I am guessing that this is indeed dead. Is anyone out there interested in trading Slip and SMMD, especially electronically? I can do snail mail as well, I just need more of this music!
