Re:> chords
The tuning for this is C G C Eb C F.
I capo the second fret.
It repeats this progression:
6--10-----7----10----3--------------------
5--10-----7----10----3--------------------
4--9------0-----9----3-------------------
3--0------0-----0----0------------------
2--0------0-----0----0---------------
1--0------0-----0----0-------------------
It might be hard, with the capo on, to get that last chord. I usually have to twist my hand a little to avoid the capo.
Then:
6--dont-play-------------------------
5--8------7-----5----4------------------
4--7------6-----5----5-------------------
3--7------6-----5----4------------------
2--0------0-----0----0---------------
1--0------0-----0----0-------------------
Then these 2 chords backnforth:
6---3----5--------------------------------
5---3----4------------------------------
4---3----4-----------------------------
3---0----0-----------------------------
2---0----0-------------------------------
1---0----0------------------------------
until the last chord, which is everything open.
If you don't have a capo, just knock every fret down 2.
Since it's hard to tune a string to a minor third(the Eb),
I find it easier to hold it on the 4th fret (I mean 4 above
the capo) and play it against the adjacent strings, which
should produce a perfect 5th. Keeping it in tune is tough too,
and I often have to adjust it throughout the song, which is
actually how the breakdown, the big open chord/halftime feel,
originally came about, as a moment to check the tuning.
Fun to play with: tremelo, gumption, friends, feedback, espesso.
cool? DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!!!!GO RED SOX!!!!
