Wine and White Soda

wine and white soda combine
for a drink that the Spanish call tinto verano
in the summer the Andalucian bride
knows such a fusion's nothing less than divine
you remind me of a Rioja Red
your so robust with a kick that goes straight to the head
don't the clouds look like rabbits and mice
I wanna hold hands, baby that would be nice
bring me a lime, I'm carbonated
such a bubbly solution leaves us so satiated
I'm through with these burgundy rhymes
come and get me
come and get me

wine and white soda your from Cordoba
wine and white soda it all spills over
wine and white soda drunk stone sober

fine I've made up my mind
I'm gonna break out the bottle from 79'
the 7-UP kid so glad that he did
that which the governor strictly forbid
don't need no crown, no regulator
we can swim to the moon hop from crater to crater
your a painter when you spill your wine
blood on the table blood on the vine
bring me a lime and kick up the dust
you know it's not about love it's not about lust
I'm through with these burgundy rhymes
come and get me
come and get me

wine and white soda your from Cordoba
wine and white soda it all spills over
wine and white soda drunk stone sober

(then the old Chrysanthemum lyrics)

you can't laugh till you've cried
you can't live until you've died
you can't have what you wanted
until you've had what you don't
I may not make it all of the way
I may die
if die before my time
if I had one thing to say
it's that I'm glad you were mine

i need to bump this because i've never been able to stop listening to this song.

I've always thought in the second verse that brad sang "it's a song about losing; it's a song about lust"

this is what i get from listening to the independent show april 27, 07.
