There’s a door
To a room
In a house in Ashland, Oregon

There’s a Moth
On a light
With a cape the shadow of the moon

You eyes are small but they see big things
They are still but they haven’t seen
The passing falls on me
Hard as icicles
"Heart is still as the driving rain?"

There’s a door
And a lock
In a house in Ashland, Oregon
They’re tearing it down

There’s a hole
In the ground
It’s the home I won’t be going

When/(with) death comes around

Your eyes are small but they see big things
They are still but they haven’t seen
The passing falls on me
Hard as icicles
Heart is still as the driving rain
