I love On the Corner as well as Bitches Brew, but their writing is good and generally they make some astute observations. I don't agree with their star system, but some of the comments about individual artists and combinations are on the money. Look at reviews of Frank Zappa...I thought Apostrophe was a masterpiece, but they felt it was contrived. Zeppelin I is another rock classic...definitely 5 stars...but they were a bit more critical. That's what critics do...they seem to have high props for Neil Young, however.

Maybe we should do our own reviews here instead.

agreed. was reading through some of the reviews and while i may not agree with some of what they write, they definitely seem to know their shit.
