No one's confirmed at many other north east venues yet either (Pearl Street, Lupo's, The Paradise, Higher Ground, etc)... not to say it couldn't happen, just that it's only August.

Hmmm....maybe we should get an all-star band together and book one of these fine venues! I'll bring the champagne. :P

If I recollect correctly, they didn't announce their New Year's plans until Haloween evening at Pearl Street last year. It's the end of summer, nothing's happening, and I guess I'm just getting antsy. Just the same, I would much prefer the Narrows to Pearl Street if they do a NYE show this year.....

narrows vs pearl vs whatever

The main issue with Narrows on NYE is lack of walking-distance hotels. "Running the gauntlet" on NYE is not advisable. There's other great venues besides these two. Something in Boston would be just peachy.

Well Pearl Street is out. They just booked the Silver Jews for NYE.
