Los Lonely Boys Pulled from Pepsi Smash Lineup

Following the arrest of drummer Ringo Garza, the NFL has pulled the Los Lonely Boys from the lineup for the Pepsi Smash Concert Series in Jacksonville, FL. The multi-date series is timed to precede next month’s Super Bowl. Earlier this month, Garza was arrested for possession of marijuana. NFL Director of Corporate Communications Brian McCarthy told the Florida Times-Union, “We were uncomfortable with it.”

According to the Associated Press, Garza and his wife Lenora were booked on $1,000 bail and released soon after. Garza’s house was searched after two women filed a police report after “a night of drinking at the couple’s house.” Garza and his wife each face a misdemeanor charge of possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.
