my first earthquake

Post: # 17687Post rhythmicstorm »

i've lived in LA for five years, i and i felt my first earthquake last night a 1am.

it was only a 4.5, but it shook the house, the bed, and the giant bookcase next to my bed. very strange and scary sensation.... to be lying in bed and suddenly feel your house moving. with you in it!

on a different note, i posted some new recordings on myspace.

I've lived in Berkeley/Oakland for over 10 years now. I've gotten really used to earthquakes by now. I know I might change my tune when "the big one" comes but at this point they're more interesting to me than scary. We do have our bookcases bolted to the wall though.
