That was (if I'm not mistaken) done intentially. They did 2 soundtracks in 1969 and 1970 I think. They were approached about 2001. The band made the music but it was not used. This is from foggy memory of reading an interview well over ten years ago. Maybe I'm mistaken about 2001. The Wizard of Oz thing is coincidence but still very cool!
