you pussies.. NYE is all about getting shitfaced so you dont feel the bitter cold all around you, so you forget all the fucked up things you did during the year, and to wake up in the new year next to some random STD incubator starting off the new year with a whole new set of troubles.

or is this my dream?

What's in a word?

Well, I was going to say inane or insipid, or maybe assumptive but it was basically just a shallow joke attempt. I think sometimes Pat is funny, but he sometimes tries too hard and steps on toes as well as changing the subject. So instead of talking about NYE plans, we end up talking about Pat.

But that's not what I'm getting at, I'm just saying I'm a fragile sunflower and if you want to make fun of me, at least be creative! :)

I can't see NYE in Montreal either, but that would be very cool with me and I would start making plans to go. Wherever it is, we're going to need to know soon because hotels and other accomodations are often to the max on NYE so it's good to have things lines up (some need to get plane tix, which takes more than 30 days or you pay nosebleed prices).

When I throw a NYE party (and you're all invited...well, most of you ;-}), I will give plenty of notice...like 6 mo. to a year. Because it's not going to be just a show at a place, it's going to be an excursion and an adventure. It's going to involve warm water and a beach, several days and noone leaves w/o a tattoo or stories to share.

So I doubt the water will be swimmable on NYE, but there are indoor pools at certain facilities...which is why knowing the town soon will help a lot.

Keep us all posted and I'll do the same (with approval, of course).

Quote of the year...

Well... Vermont would be pretty cool (I think Pam would really dig it too) or upstate NY... I'm just trying to go over the places they've played NYE before.. I will say this, like phrazz said, find a room as soon as you can... if you can find like a comfort suite or something you can often reserve a room w/o having to put a down deposit...

Aww, Phrazz, I wasn't knockin' you. It IS a cool word, and now I even know what it means.

Anybody wanna start a pool on where NYE will happen?

Diesel, you're a sick fuck. But you're spot on, man. Spot on.

The Iron Horse is NOT booked for 12/31 yet, according to their website

Ironhorse is too small. No matter how fun that would be.

So that only cancels out what, Providence (or Cranston, RI), Fall River, and Somerville? Could be anywhere...

Likely not VT though, as Higher Ground is booked (with 3 nights of DSO) and the Eclipse Theatre in Waitsfield is pretty much done.
