the tune before "England" I would safely guess is "Come in the water". I thought it was the highlight of the night! Basically Brad was screaming an emotional face-melting solo in between choruses for a few repetitions. Loved it. Bummer about the sound issues, but whatever, new tunes sound great, and some slightly different vocal harmonies here and there made for some great moments, like in little lover and darkness.
The upright bass player is Ben, from Montreal.
Agree with previous observations about sound/start time.
Can't wait for the first single from the album to drop... wonder which tune it will be!

Was super pumped to be down in Brooklyn from MA for this show but the house sound at Rough Trade was a huge disappointment. Their set was also short IMO! They were scheduled to start at 9:45 but I think took the stage around 10:10 and ended the set at 11:15. The 2-song encore was a small consolation. Too bad most of the tour is on foreign soil...would love to hear some of the new material again in a month or so after it gets broken in on the road.Kevin_Kjr wrote:what did people think of the show last night?
