The Slip's Official Taping Policy
Taping the music of The Slip is welcomed and encouraged. Please be mindful of the following guidelines:
• Share the music with others for love rather than money.
• Please keep mics off the stage and do not obstruct the view in seated situations.
• Do your best not to encroach upon the dancing area.
• Keep your equipment self-contained.
The Slip does not allow soundboard patches or videotaping.
Thank you for helping to spread the music!
Did you get this from that older guy who shot about 45 minutes of footage?
An exemption was amde for him that day but I don't think BAM is gonna be happy when they see the links on this and the graffitti to the clip. They are pretty picku about what type of footage they let people see. They have had a bunch of shows professionally shot and so far have not been happy enough to use any of the footage. If this is from that one guy I'm not too happy that he didn't contact me. I let him know that they do not allow but Brad said let it go today. I told him I archive these guys adn to shoot me an email and never heard from him about it. Was this from that guy?

the sound is great, video quality sucks.
Its short, and just fun to look at, so it will grace us for a little bit.

Damnit I wish that guy would have contacted me. Make an exeption to the rule. Let him know it's an exeption and to contact me. No contact. Maybe one day he will see my card and email me about it. Typically it would have been a quick "you can't video tape the show" but one exeption was made. Doesn't feel good that he decided not to contact me either. He seemed really into the music too. Oh well. next time there getting SHUT DOWN!!

further proving the theory that no good deed goes unpunished.
