Les Paul is New York

I was thinking about checking out Les Paul one of these Mondays at the Iridium Jazz Club.....any of you ever see him there?

I actually dated his granddaughter and met him only once. So I asked him to sign my Stratocaster and he obliged because he liked his granddaughter so much.

I saw him there in April. One thing that stood out beside his playing of course is his banter. He's a funny bastard, and kind of perverted too, if you see him you'll know what I mean. He has bad arthritis, so he might not play as hard as he used to, but he can still play. His band is sick. He has special guests often, you never know who will show up. Bring a camera because you're allowed to take pics. Get there early for a good seat, you may have to order dinner to sit right up front, but it will be worth it. The tix are expensive, but hey it's Les Paul
