i like this idea. it would be even better if we could find shows that were streaming so i could listen to them at work.

yeah, i hear ya's on the streaming... i realized after i went to post it that it wouldnt be streamable - but i was lovin' it so much last nite, i had to post it anyhow...
for the streamers,
here's one that kicks, too - a show i was at in Halifax, coming up on the 1 yr. anniversary... 2nd set is killer, and only consists of 3 HUGE tunes, hahaha... listen for the pack of PEI kids during the condor... thanks to daver for the tape job!
bnb tomorrow, bouche? sounds good to me!

You guys ever checked out the group "Yo Miles" -- these guys are sick. Michael Manring is a sick bassist, but I'd only previously heard him with guitarist Michael Hedges. Steve Smith, drummer for Journey, is also sick on this. Anyway, there's one streamable show here:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-deta ... p?id=21385
and there's a non-stream as well.
Enjoy!!

Archive Pick O' The Day - 11.10.05
Burt Neilson Band - 11.14.03 - Call The Office, London Ontario
alright, im a slut for this show. i try to pimp off to anyone who will listen. one of their early "comeback" shows and one that is just super tasty to listen to, all the way through. a hometown show for me, and i've said a million times -there's not much that beats the burt neilson band at call the office. and no matter how good the recording sounds, it's always better in the room. this night was no different. a little tidbit about the show: a band called soft canyon was supposed to open, but they didnt even show up. so we got treated to an unexpected 2 set show - good thing i showed up early, cuz they came out rippin'! the first 4 tunes really get this thing off to a flyin' start.
Enjoy!
ps: if anyone likes it enough to download it and wants covers, i did some up for fun a while ago and i think they're pretty sweet - lemme know if you want 'em and i'll pass 'em along.

The BNB show is some good stuff. Thanks for the tip.
By the way, "Bouche" means mouth in French -- as in, Fermez la Bouche!

"Fermez la bouche" (shut your mouth) was meant as an example -- not that I was telling you or anyone to shut it.
Peace,
