MD: There are rumors circulating about an upcoming studio album to be released. Can we get an update?

AB: Sure – basically we made an album that we’re really happy with and we want to make sure that it is released in the most creative and complimentary way possible. We’re expecting a late summer release. How it’s going to happen is still a secret. For now you can hear a song or two off the record on our web page (www.theslip.com). I think old fans will find the same exploratory sense within the songs, but there’s definitely a new sound in the production. We had a lot of fun hiding out in an old Boston warehouse rocking out on trash cans, xylophones, vintage keyboards, and some great old microphones.
