Railroad Earth

I got to see these guys in Charlotte last night. I am not a real big bluegrass fan, but they were a treat. They played a couple of songs I really digged and a couple I could do without. I would probably go see them again if the came back to the area. If you like this genera of music I would recommend checking them out!!!

RRE is very cool -- not your typical bluegrass. They're one of the favorites at High Sierra (if crowd size is any indication). They have some funny lyrics, too.

I actually really like RRE... my band covers one of their songs (long way to go) and are probably looking to do a couple more...

but if you like RRE.. check out From Good Homes, that's the one member (main writer, his name escapes me) first band....
