What older songs could be ressurected as new rockers. Now I don't mean Hey Worrier, Cumulus or Eube. I'm talking about older songs that have always hinted at this newer rock sound.
My first picks: Chasing Rabbits, You Might Say, Sandman, Tinderbox, Mudslide...

Old Tunes, New Sound...
If theres' one thing I know to be true: let what you love, be what you do.
The vocals with the older songs were sung so differently to what a lot of the newer songs are like that it's tough to say, but I think that Tonight We Leave Chicago, Sometimes True to Nothing, Tenfold (bring it back!!!), Pictures of Calysto (minus the slow meandering middle section) have hints of what was to come. I think they could do some kick-ass versions of these now too...

tonight we leave chicago and chasing rabbits were definitely the first to come to my mind when reading this thread.
i think 'through the iron gate' would be a prime candidate. while it's a beautiful song in it's own right, i think they could definitely expand on it. throw in a 'lot's 'o socks' type intro and really make that sucker BIG.
