I've seen pictures of his stuff. Wicked cool. I like the way he just makes stuff out of whatever, but natural, and usually ephemeral. Like visual music, if you will.

I love this guy. I've checked out a number of his books (photographs of his natural art pieces). He's a total visionary. Love it.

I am a big fan of his. Very cool stuff. There's a great documentary on him - Rivers and Tides. Check it out.

Rivers and Tides is amazing.

I would also HIGHLY recommend "Touch The Sound - A Sound Journey with Evelyn Glennie" also directed by Thomas Riedelsheimer (who directed Rivers and Tides.)

For those who don't know, Evelyn Glennie is a world-class concert percussionist who also happens to be deaf. The film is about her and her life, but it centers around a recording session with Fred Frith.

I don't buy many DVDs, but I own both of these. They are both so beautiful.

Andy Goldsworthy is even a step beyond Ansel Adams in my book. This guy has incredible patience and a deviant eye. We are forced to stop and think, then we realize Nature is even more beautiful as it's contrived (not because of that, it just forces your mind to focus).

We think "How did he do that???" and have to smile. Amazing visual stimuli.
