Yes! Happy Spring! (The best of seasons, in my opinion)

Enjoy one of only two days per year with equal sunlight and nighttime. Also, I think the sun actually rises in the east and sets in the west today. Any astronomy experts here?

I had plans to be in Thailand this week, but the ice storm cancelled those plans after sitting on the runway for 4.5 hours. However, I am happy to be in the northern hemisphere with all of you to celebrate the vernal equinox!

Equinox is a cool tune!

According to the following sources, spring starts today 3/20 at 7:07 PM EST:

http://encarta.msn.com/media_701500666/ ... 32010.html

http://www.infoplease.com/spot/riteofspring1.html

Other sources say it's just after midnight -- hey that's another great tune, After Midnight by J.J. Cale (E.C.)

Anyway, who's right about the start of spring this year, eh? Come on . . .

Thanks for the tunes you guys!! Haven't finished listening to them all yet. Can we continue discussing must hear archive material? I myself don't get on there enough not to get overwhelmed by all the beautiful things, especially with the dead being stream only and all.
