two opposite poles

a baby step out of the hole
knowing i can easily
fall back in
any day, any moment
i am grateful

when i look beyond
what i do in each moment
i tend to get caught up
in my own maze
our maze
the labyrinth

like balancing the scales
tipped too far
in either direction
it's bound to spin over(imagine the scales in the sky, Libra)
be the scales
instead of either side
be all sides
the only way to stay flexible
to move with the waves

we can't control others
only ourselves and this
can be a task no one
wants to be a part of


strobe light
lightning flashes
flicker flicker
yin yang chaotic life
strobes
from white to black
black to white
no where to pin point
or place the blame

to be in control of
your own actions and thoughts
the way to branch out
to help everything
as an example of how
we all can be
responsible

no one can control the group
please remember we are all
individuals here with our
own karma and fates to live out

be thyself, you can evolve
we all know what's right and wrong
in our hearts and beings
we are not as stupid or dumb
as we sometimes claim to be
when we lie
about doing something because
'everyone else' is doing it
please learn to love ourselves
our own individual freedom
of doing what's right
on our own
it is one of the
only real freedoms
we have
and the one who's
trying to trick is
someone who you too
can easily be
if you give up
and ignore your
own choices
your own
responsibilities

even with the
tricksters
suffocating me
tempting me
to show my
power of destruction

i choose to
show peace
even when
they cover
me with hate
