it's all good until you have to play the hottest team in baseball a mile higher than usual, in the snow!

The Rockies hot streak is about to run into a brick wall. His name is Josh Beckett. Its good to be a new england sports fan this time of year!

9 days rest should have the rockies feeling pretty relaxed by wednesday. lets not forget their meeting earlier this year at fenway...rockies took that series 2-1 and outscored boston 20-5 with their one loss only being by a score of 2-1. oh yeah, 30% of those runs were given up by beckett. this will be a world series worth tuning in for...

I doubt anyone from Boston is worried about the snow.
If Colorado is going to be able to afford a better team next year, they had better fix their ticket system:

i lived in colorado for a while and would consider the rockies my "national league" team. But doesn't come close to my love for the sox. what happened earlier this year doesn't mean shit. Beckett is a beast in the postseason. I am up for a tight series though, those rockies are mighty good as of late.

the Revolution are also in the MLS playoffs, lest we forget about the real football.
