divorce
my parents are finalizing their divorce now im 23 and meeting up with my mom after leaving, its been about 3 or 4 years since ive really meet up with her and talked to her. Any advice?
Thrice you have rescued me from falling grace;
once when I was a beggar and you were the rain on my face,
once when I was crippled and you carried me,
and once when the blindness of others taught me how to see.

i'd say, above all, remember that your parents are just people.
people do the best they can under the circumstances they're faced with. it may be easy to say, shoulda coulda woulda... but it is what it is. try to see your mom, for whatever her circumstances were, for the individual person she is, aside from being your mom.
