I checked out KBM at Lupos the other night. Really cool rock fusion power-trio versions of Dead tunes, Max Creek tunes and some fun covers. They are currently doing a 9 show Northeast run - check em out if you're into that stuff, its worth it.

KBM @ Lupos
1. (80 min) Scarlet Begonias > Mercury Blues, Sugaree, Cruel World > The Other One, Yellow Moon, Franklins Tower

2: (71 min) Help on the Way > Chains of Life, Mas Y Mas, Rhymes, Eyes of the World, Bertha

E: (7 min) Lovelight

I really want to see these guys. I have been friends with and worked for Bill for a number of years now and I've never heard him as psyched about a project as he is about this one. Clinton's recording of their Pearl St. show (at least the 2nd set which survived the digital apocalypse) is also pretty sweet!

is that the show they are selling as a live CD? I wrote a review of the show for Jambase which should be up sometime soon.....if it gets approved.

Interesting.... I know nothing of it if they are. That would bum me out a bit. I guess I would be happy at the same time though. Bear can you look for any credits on it? Harry do you know?

I don't know anything myself. I do know they were giving away mp3's of Clinton's recording on Scott Murawski's site so it doesn't seem like that's what you would pick to release. Maybe their Earth Day concert in Chicago?
